But she just couldn't make it and now they're all gone. Then Daddy will carry them all to their beds, it's quite lovely.

Time flies when you're a parent. I remember time dragging by as a kid, it seemed forever til summer break and then til Christmas. But as an adult time doesn't slow down the older I get, it just keeps speeding up. Especially watching my kids grow. It seems like just yesterday Maylee was this,
For her birthday we picked up her best friend Brookie and left Talli and Dutch with Celynda and we went out and had a girlie day. My mom came down to help celebrate Maylee's birthday as well. First we took the girls to McDonald's for lunch and let them eat and play. Then we took them to get manicures. Which Maylee and Brookie did so good sitting still and letting them paint their nails like big girls. After getting their nails done we headed over to see the Mermaid at Maylee's request. Before the Mermaid we stopped at Johnny Rocket's and got the girls milk shakes, then they got to watch the mermaid show. Afterwards we ended up back at Celynda's house were the kids played, we ate dinner, had cake and ice cream and opened presents. It was a really fun day celebrating Maylee.

Some things about Maylee at the age of 4:
We love our Maylee Girl! She drives us a little crazy with all her energy but she is still a ray of sunshine and there is not a lot that gets her down. She is one of the happiest people I know. We Love You Maylee!!!

Talli hates to wear clothes, well its more a love/hate relationship. She loves it if its her sisters and she picked it out and put it on herself. If I help her she hates it, if I pick it out she hates. But she also LOVES to take off her clothes and the girl loves shoes. So we see this combination A LOT! ( And I didn't even put the pictures without the diaper!)![]()

I left the house for 12 minutes to run to the store to pick up the main ingredient in the dinner I was cooking. David was snoozing on the bed after his long 24 hour shift. He knew I left and was sleep listening to the kids. All of the sudden the sound of water being poured woke him up. When we walked into the kitchen he stepped on wet carpet. They flooded the kitchen and the carpet right outside. Darn Kids!!! About 15 towels later it was finally dry.![]()
While we were gone Grandpa and the kids played and watched TV and got to stay up late.

Pretty much the last 4 times my Dad has come up here we have been saying that we are going to go walk across the new bridge and it just wasn't happening. So we made sure that we walked the bridge this time. That thing is massive. It definitely makes me in awe of what people can build and do. At one point Dutch stood up on the railing and then put his knee on the top railing so he could see down. Lets just say we had three screaming adults. It really upset Dutch and embarrassed him, but oh my it almost gave me a heart attack.

Our last outing with Grandpa we went to see the Mermaid. I've been wanting to take Maylee there forever but I just kept putting it off. So we finally ventured over to the Silverton Casino. Maylee was so amazed to watch the mermaid swim. The mermaid would blow kisses and wave to all the kids. Maylee was fascinated. Pretty sure her eyes never left that mermaid.

Afterwards we walked around the Bass Pro Shop until the kids saw the quads and then they just played on those for a bit.
