Talli is one month old today. It seems like she has been apart of our family forever and at the same time I can't believe she is only one month. She is starting to smile, which is so much fun. Of course you only get to see the smile if you are lucky, they are very unpredictable right now. She so far has been an awesome baby and I am still terrified I am going to jinx myself every time I say that. But she is doing a 5-6 1/2 hour stretch at night. She goes to bed at ten wakes up between 3 or 4:30 and then doesn't wake up again until anywhere from 6:30 to 8. It is awesome. And then she takes a three hour nap around nine. I'm just hoping she keeps this up. I can function like a pro if I get this much sleep. And I get to workout every morning while she is napping, I'm one happy Mommy. She is sleeping in her car seat every night. Now some people might frown upon this but who cares, she is sleeping and that is all that matters to me. I lay a big comfy blanket down so she isn't sleeping on the buckles and she loves it. See how comfy she is. Before I forget to do this I wanted to tell how she got her name. When I was about seven months pregnant David finally came down on me and told me I needed to start thinking about names. He said he knows that I have been nervous I was going to lose her, especially after the whole cyst thing but that I couldn't keep putting it off. I was afraid if I picked out a name then I was going to be to attach to her and be even more devastated if I lost her, so I just wouldn't' even think of names. But David told me in a very nice, sensitive way to get over it and to name our baby and let myself attach. Which I was already attach and that is why I was terrified of losing her. So anyways I finally came up with what I thought was the perfect name and you know what David did, turned it down flat. So we went back to the drawing board. And then I came up with another great name, this time David liked it but didn't love it. Meanwhile David had convinced Dutch that her name was Avery. As much as I like the name it is way to popular for me, so pretty much I think David did it just to get me serious about coming up with another name. Anyways so David liked the second name but didn't love it so he started doing spin offs from the name. And that is how he came up with Talli and then he was hooked. He loved the name Talli, I liked it but I wasn't in love. So we kept going over it, and then David was able to convince both Dutch and Maylee that her name was now Talli. I still wasn't sure but I really liked how involved David was with naming her, he didn't have any say with Dutch or Maylee but that is really because he didn't try. So I felt good about letting him name one of his kids. But I still was secretly trying to figure out how I was going to go with my name but let David think it was a good idea. And then all the sudden we were at the hospital and I was delivering and I hadn't convinced David otherwise. And after I had her the nurse took her over to clean her up and I heard David say, "Hi baby Talli" and I thought, "Ok, well I guess her name is Talli." But it totally fits her now and I am super glad that David was able to name one of his kids, and now I have the leverage to name all the rest, haha. As for her middle name Brienne, if you know me well enough you know that is my given name and Breezy has only been my nickname since the day I was born. So I thought it would be cool for one of my girls to carry on my given name.

I can't believe it's been so long since I lasted posted. Now I understand why people with more the two kids don't post as often, it's a lot harder to find time. We've actually been super busy. The day after Talli turned two weeks old the kids and I headed down to Arizona. Mom and Stormy met us right outside of Kingman and Stormy drove with me the rest of the way to help entertain the kids (we have no DVD player). Talli did great, I only had to stop and nurse her twice and then she slept the rest of the time. Dutch on the other hand was terrible. He pretty much cried the entire time and kept saying, "I want to go to Mimi's house." I kept telling him that we were but he just didn't believe me, he thought that we would get in the car and be there in five minutes, its' been so long that he forgot it was a long car ride. So when we finally turned on Elliot road, where he could see my parents club house, a landmark that he recognized, he screamed really loud, "We did it mom, we did it." I told him, yep we did do it, I told you we were going to Mimi's house. It made Stormy and I laugh really hard. We had a great time down there. Dutch and Maylee of course had a blast playing with Maxx, Jace and Kade. Maylee and Kade played so well together this time, it was so fun to watch them be little buddies. On Wednesday the kids and I met Fawn, Dawn, Jadie and their kiddos at the Zoo. It was so much fun. Dutch and Jackson got along really well and I got to meet Hayes for the first time. It was a lot of fun. Of course I forgot to take my camera, I took pictures on Fawn's camera and then forgot to put them on flash drive to bring home, I'm pretty sure I lost a lot of brain cells after having Talli. On Thursday Maylee, Talli and I headed over to Shuana's house to hang out. I got to meet Shauna's little girl Ashlynn, she is so adorable. It was so much fun to just spend the day with her, I miss having girls nights.
And then Friday all the wedding festivities started. Friday morning I got my haircut, yea!, it needed it so badly. It feels so great to have a cute cut again. And then Friday evening I picked David up at the airport and we headed over to the rehearsal dinner. We left Dutch and Maylee with my parents and took Talli with us. I felt extremely paranoid having Talli around a big crowd of people when she is still so little. I never take my babies out until they're six weeks old, so the wedding really had me on edge. But we kept her covered in her car seat and then I gave her to Grandma to hold, with a promise that she wouldn't let anyone else hold her. So that night wasn't too bad. And the dinner was super nice.
The wedding was on Saturday and it worked out super nice because they didn't get sealed until 2, such a great time. So I got my hair colored Saturday morning, it was so nice, I haven't had my hair colored in a couple of years, it's so fun to have something new done to it. Then we headed over to Mesa and dropped the kids off at Stormy and Spenser's apartment since they live about 100 feet from the temple, it worked out perfectly. The sealing was beautiful, I love going to sealings, I don't remember anything that was said at ours so it's so nice to go and listen to the wonderful advice from the Sealer's. While we were at the sealing, little miss Maylee peed all over Stormy and Spenser's couch. I felt really bad about that, she has been doing terrible still. Then we all headed over to the reception. It was beautiful, everything turned out so nicely for Chase and Jessi. I was on edge and even more paranoid at the reception. We had one really sick person come up and talk to us about two feet from Talli that sent me over the edge. I'm sure there are plenty of people who think I'm crazy for being so paranoid, but hey the way I figure it is, she is my baby, my responsibility and if someone else gets her sick it won't effect them at all, it will only effect her and me, so it's just not worth the risk to me AT ALL. So after that we moved to a table that only had four chairs, enough for our family and then I held Talli the rest of the time under the blanket. As great as the reception was I was grateful for everything to be over and to be able to take my baby away from such a large group. But we had a blast in Arizona. This was the first time that I really did not want the week to end. I just wanted to stay there. I miss Arizona and I miss being by family. I love having my kids play with cousins and it makes me sad every time we have to leave them.
Photos from the wedding day... David and his brothers, minus two... Just remember I had a baby two and a half weeks ago... My mom tried doing a photo shoot with Maylee, she wasn't really cooperating... And Dutch was obsessed with climbing trees The adorable couple... Maylee had a blast dancing with Daddy at the reception, it was adorable. So we had a great time but now we are back home in Nevada trying to figure out a new routine with three kids. Maylee is back in diapers full time. I just couldn't handle it anymore. She has really had a hard time since Talli has joined the family. She has been very angry with me, like I did some terrible thing. She loves Talli, but she is not happy with me. So she is even more of a Daddy's girl then she was before. It seems to be getting a little better, but she is even more ornery, if that is at all possible. And with her new little attitude, I just couldn't handle the accidents. I was going crazy, so now I feel a lot better since she has been in diapers and I'm not constantly finding an accident by stepping in a wet spot. So things have been a lot better in the last day. But we do have to safety pin a onesies on her underneath her clothes in order to keep the diaper on her.
Talli is such a great baby. She has been sleeping really good at night, I'm actually terrified to say that out loud, I'm afarid I'm going to jinx myself. But she really is great, I am so in love with her. It's really fun to have a little baby again. Now the only obstacle is seeing if she can survive Maylee.
Dutch is having a hard time with the "normal" mommy back, instead of the crazy, lazy pregnant mommy. He is really having a hard time with Mommy actually carrying through on my threats instead of just letting him get away with anything. We are all going through a big adjustment. But he is great with Talli and I never have to worry about him around her.
David only has 18 days left of his first year of medical school and then we are out for the summer. I'm super excited about this summer to just play. And to be able to take naps and let Daddy see what it's like to be at home 24/7 with the kids. He is going to go Crazy!
I haven't take very many pictures of Talli, I've slacked off, here is her most recent one.

Easter and one week old

It was great to have Easter one week after Talli was born because it was something fun for Dutch and Maylee that didn't focus on or around Talli. Yesterday after conference we colored eggs with the kids. Its so funny how doing something so simple can be so much fun. They loved coloring eggs. If we didn't watch Maylee carefully enough she would just drop her egg in the cup and we would hear a crack. Dutch on the other hand is very careful and precise about what he does, its so fun to watch their different personalities. And Maylee of course had to be stripped down because we just can't trust that girl around dye. She definitely keeps our hands full, but I wouldn't want her any other way. This morning Daddy had to wake Dutch up at almost 8 o'clock, that is very rare for him to sleep so late. But he went in there and said to Dutch, "Do you know who came to our house." David said he opened his eyes and said "the Easter Bunny" and jumped out of bed. He hardly ever wakes up that happy. So we knew it was going to be a good day. We headed down stairs and found that the Easter Bunny left baskets full of candy and a toy for each of them. Dutch and Daddy each got a Nerf Gun from the Easter Bunny. That is a huge hit. They have been having wars all day long. It is so hilarious to watch and Dutch just laughs and laughs when he gets hit or when he hits Daddy. I'm so excited that he and Daddy have such a fun game to play now. During my nap today, Daddy set up plastic cups and they had target shooting for a long time and then he drew a Lion on my glass door (with dry erase marker) for them to shoot at. Dutch loves it. And for Maylee the Easter Bunny brought her a princess doll. Which she is in love with. Maylee is all girl, she is obsessed with the colors pink and purple, she will only eat the chocolate eggs that are covered in the purple foil. And she is in love with Princess'. The other day her and Daddy looked at pictures of princess' on the computer for about an hour and Maylee loved every minute of it and cried when they were done. They each had a blast hunting for eggs. At one point Dutch's basket got kind of full and heavy so I told him to dump it out by me and I would watch his eggs for him while he finished looking. Well Maylee came over and saw all the eggs in a pile and thought she hit the jackpot. It was pretty cute.
Talli is one week old today. It is amazing how fast time flies once they are here but the pregnancy drags. She is going to be one spoiled little girl and it will be nobodies fault but mine, David, Dutch and Maylee's. But only because we just can't get enough of her and she pretty much never gets set down. I was so nervous the last month of my pregnancy thinking, "what the heck was I thinking, getting pregnant again, now I'm going to have another dependent baby and I really was enjoying that both my kids had gotten to that independent stage." But it was apparently just nerves. Because I love having a little baby again. It is so much fun. She is just so precious, I already can't picture my life with out her. I have the three most adorable kids ever.
