David has driven a crap car for the past 5 years. The first car was the 1995 Honda Civic Hatchback, it had no A/C, no power steering, none of the gauges worked. It was a terrible car but David was such a good sport and drove it anyways. Then two years ago when we got my van, David got to upgrade to my old car, my 2002 Nissan Sentra. However a few months before David got it the A/C broke and it started falling apart. But again he was a good sport. But lately that car started to really fall apart. The clutch had gone completely out, and the transmission was almost completely shot. David said we could put about 1000 dollars into fixing it up (although David is the worst estimator, so I figured 1000 dollars would end up being about 1500 or 2000) anyways the more I thought about it the dumber it seemed to keep throwing money into the piece of crap and I started toying with the idea of getting David a new car. David wasn't too sure on the idea, of course he wanted a better car but was having a hard time justifying it. I of course was able to talk him into it and soon he was very excited. He started searching online and then went to a couple of dearlerships. We ended up back at the Toyota dealership, because that is where our van loan is through and not to many people are excited about giving someone a loan who has absolutely no income. So since we have a great record at Toyota they were much more willing to help.   After being at the dealership for 5 hours I was able to talk them down several thousand dollars, and get money back and they ended up selling us a 2008 Toyota Prius. Definitely not the type of car we ever thought we'd be buying but it ended up being a great deal, in our budget and so we signed the papers. It gets amazing gas mileage, has A/C and David is really enjoying driving a nice car.

Dutch attended preschool this year at the local rec center. He loved going to preschool. He made a lot of friends and really enjoyed being in school. At the end of the year they have a graduation for all the kids. My friend told me it was the cutest thing ever and to make sure and get there an hour early to get good seats. It seemed crazy but we followed her advice and I was so glad that we did. It was the cutest thing I ever seen. The kids learned a bunch of adorable songs and danced while they sang them. Dutch did so well too, he sang and dance and was a great sport. And he looked adorable in his cap and gown. Unfortunately my camera was a some crazy setting that I didn't realize and all my pictures turned out blurry.

1st tooth

Dutch came into the living room this morning and said, "Hey Mom look I have a loose tooth." I was pretty shocked I wasn't really expecting him to be losing teeth yet. But I wiggled it and sure enough that tooth was loose. A couple of hours pass and David gets some doctor tweezers thingy and asks Dutch if he can just feel it. He slip those tweezers on that tooth gave a little tug and out popped the tooth. I never expected to be so EXCITED for him to lose his first tooth but it was so much fun. I was super excited. We prepped him for the tooth fairy. The tooth fairy left him two dollars under his bed, lucky boy!!!
