For David's 31st birthday this year we decided to take the kids bowling. It was the first time ever taking the kids and they had a blast and it was absolutely adorable to watch them bowl. I had thrown out my back so I wasn't able to bowl but I loved watching David help the girls bowl. Dutch did so well bowling. No fits, he didn't get upset when that he didn't hit down every pin, he was such a good sport and had a lot of fun. Afterwards we went to an authentic pizza place David picked out. Lets just say three picky kids who like there pepperoni pizza did not enjoy an authentic pizza place that didn't serve pepperoni pizza. We had a great time celebrating David's birthday.

I failed to get a picture of the kids in their Easter clothes on Easter Sunday. It ended up being a busy day with Craig's homecoming and Easter activities. So I had the kids wear their Easter clothes the following week to our ward so I could get a picture of them. Grandma got all their clothes and they looked absolutely adorable. Although Dutch was a bit grouchy and these are the best photos we could get.
Thomas the Train
Remember back when Dutch was obsessed with Thomas the Train. That's pretty much in the past but when David and I heard that Thomas was coming to Boulder City we got pretty excited and wanted to take Dutch to see him. We thought about letting him ride the train, but we've done that before and didn't think it was worth paying $100 just because it was Thomas pulling it this time. So we just went and watched Thomas and took some pictures and Dutch still thought it was just as cool.

No training wheels
Dutch is finally riding his bike without training wheels, YAY!!! We tried just taking the training wheels off and having David push his bike and run along beside him, but Dutch must not trust his Dad very much because that just wasn't working for him. So we took Celynda's suggestion and took off his pedals so he could learn to balance his bike while sitting on it and walking. We did that for a couple of days and then put the pedals back on. Once the pedals were on he sat down and rode off without looking back and has been a pro ever since.

The girls can be found doing some funny things together. Talli has really attached herself to Maylee. If Maylee leaves the room without her she cries and she wants Maylee to carry her around, unfortunately the 10 lb weight difference makes it difficult for Maylee to pick her up :) This particular day they got a pot full of water and took drinks out of it with baby spoons, forever.
Dutch has also gotten really into his leapster. He can be found playing it all the time, usually in a hidden location because he knows I don't like him to play video games very often.

Saturday evening we went to Dawn's house for Easter Passover dinner. And I just have to say it's the best dinner. I look forward to it every year. The food is delicious, company great. And after dinner all the kids colored Easter eggs. Talli I think colored her body more than eggs, but they all had a great time coloring eggs together.
Sunday morning the kids woke up to Easter baskets from the Easter bunny. Then we got ready for church and headed to Craig's Homecoming.
After church we headed back to Grandma & Grandpa's house with the Walterschied cousins to hunt for Easter eggs. The kids had a blast. Unfortunately in the AZ heat the chocolate was melting fast and some kids were finding eggs covered in ants. Other than that it was some fun hunting.
