1 & 3 year well checks

The girls both went into the doctor this past week for their well checks. Maylee got to be seen by the doctor first. She did very well, wasn't being super shy, answering questions, she's definitely growing up. He teased that I must be beating her because of her big black eye. She was declared a clean bill of health. She had to get one shot and she did awesome. They had a Winnie the Pooh book in the room that I read to the kids while we were waiting and it was about Pooh having to see the doctor and get a shot. So when it was time to get a shot, I told it was just like Pooh having to get a shot, she was so excited so she laid back on the table and then the poke came. She cried for 3 seconds and then was done. Such a brave girl, she proudly wore her band aid and was very sad when it was time to take the band aid off for a bath. At 3 years her stats are:

Height: 38 inches = 60th percentile

Weight: 30 lbs = 35th percentile

Talli was a bit more apprehensive about having the doctor check her out. The doctor said she is definitely teething although I'm beginning to think that she'll always be teething but never get teeth. She got her two bottom teeth at nine months and hasn't gotten anything since then, but she constantly seems like she is teething, red swollen gums and snotty. I keep hoping they'll just break through and relieve her of the pain, but nope, nothing. Poor baby had to get four shots and she let everyone in the entire office know that she did not appreciate that. At 1 year she stats are:

Height: 29 1/2 inches = 50th percentile

Weight 19.12 lbs = 25 percentile

Head 46 1/2 = 75th percentile
