Birthday Party!
Sunday night we had friends over to join in the celebration of Talli. We threw a casual little birthday party for our big 1 year old. We had a great night visiting with friends and watching Talli enjoying the attention. Before everyone came over I was nervous that our kids wouldn't be on their best behavior and that they would throw fits or be rude. They completely surprised me. Not only were all three of them on their best behavior, they were funny, talkative and just plain cute all night long. Talli seemed to know that it was her party and she lived it up. She enjoyed being spoiled by everyone and all the attention. She was full of smiles for everyone and loved being cheered for as she played with her new toy. She would punch her arms in the air and dance. She's is just such a little cutie. However when it was cake time, she wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. She would not go near her cake and she did not want me to put any in her mouth. I thought for sure she would go at it. But nope, she decided to prove me wrong and wanted nothing to do with it. I didn't get any pictures of her with her cake, bummer for me, we were video taping and forgot to pull out the camera.
I was amazed how much she loved this glow worm. The instant she opened it she started hugging it. And now if she sees Maylee playing with it she starts to cry. Today she even had to take it to the store with us. Funny girl!

Lots of cute clothes and a pair of shoes.
This bouncy turtle toy. Which was heaven sent to her apparently. She is in love. And she does not think that Dutch or Maylee should ever be allowed to sit on it. She is not willing to share. She had so much fun playing on this toy at her birthday party. David's friend Stephanie kept bouncing her, since she's to light to do it her self, and every time she would stop bouncing her Talli would look at her and let out a little yell, to indicate that she was not done yet.

Maylee decided if she was ever going to get a turn she was going to have to get on behind Talli because Talli was not about to get off.
Dutch and Maylee got spoiled a little bit by David's school friends which was super nice of them. Maylee got a puppy that came with a Dr. Kit, she's in love. Dutch got a game, so we've been playing lots of Dr. Suess.
We had a fun night celebrating Talli's birthday. We sure love this beautiful little girl!
