Tagged

I've been tagged a few different times and I decided to just go ahead and do the tags because I have nothing else of interest to update about. Life has just been steady and normal nothing exciting going on. Although... I did get Maylee's Halloween costume today which I am very excited for. I wasn't very excited about Halloween this year and I was even thinking of not dressing my kids up, you can just call me scrooge. Anyways I finally got online to just look at Halloween costumes today and I found a super cute one, for cheap, b/c everything is now 50% of since I have waited so long, so that worked out nicely. Anyways I found a cute costume and I am very excited to dress her up in it. So now I am excited about Halloween and now I have to go and find Dutch a costume. Wish me luck. Anyways for the tag. Dutch Clay

Dutch is going to be two next month and already I am understanding why everyone calls it the terrible twos. The kid can throw a fit and he can also completely ignore me and his dad almost as if he is deaf. But aside from all that he is the best little boy I could have asked for. He can recognize and say all the letters in the alphabet and he can count to five once I get him started. He loves to play with his baby sister but doesn't understand why he won't let him wrestle with her like he does with his dad. He is still obsessed with cars and I really don't think that will ever come to an end. He can't play with just one car, he needs two, one for each hand. He loves to play out in the backyard and loves to swing. He loves when I say, "on your mark, get set, go" and he runs all over the backyard. He really enjoys taking a bath with Maylee. His favorite thing is for me to put him and Maylee in the crib together so that he can bounce her all over the place and she loves it too. He doesn't like to eat and trying to get him to eat is a big challenge. It's not that he is picky about certain kinds of food, he just doesn't like to eat in general. He loves to watch Starfall on the computer. His favorite movie is... you guessed it, Cars and he really enjoys Finding Nemo. He loves to play with his cousins Maxx and Jace. Anytime that I ask him if he wants to go Bye-bye, he always say Jace, in hopes that he are going to play with him.

Dutch is now 18 months old. He is starting to say lots of different words. Usually he only says them between 3 or 6 times and then he is done. I am thinking that one day he is just going to start talking in sentence because I know that he knows the words. He is all boy. Playing with cars is his favorite thing to do. He also really loves playing and wrestling with his dad. We are pretty sure he loves his baby sister he just doesn't understand what being nice is all about. He just started nursery and he seems to like it ok as long as he doesn't have to stay the entire time. His favorite part is snack time, when he gets to drink like a big boy out of their little tiny plastic cups. We love Dutch so much and we are so blessed to have him as our little boy.

Maylee Jane

Maylee is getting to be such a big girl now. She is six months almost seven and such a joy to have in our family. I just can't get enough of her. She is extremely mobile for her age. She crawls all over the house and is starting to pull herself up on things. She loves to play with Dutch but more often then not it ends in tears. The girl loves to eat paper and cries big crocodile tears when you take it away from her. She hates to ride in her car seat, she does not like to lay on her back and being strapped down really doesn't go over very well. She loves to take a bath especially now that she is allowed to sit up and play in there. We are so blessed to have her as part of our family.
